Skiing and Snowboarding

Well, obviously I'm not an avid blogger like I'd like to be, but it's time for a few updates.

I have been to the Mt. Hood with my family twice this year. Greg, Keegan & Cody have been up to the mountain many times and have made good use of the boys season passes. Keegan is on the snowboard team for Westview High School and goes to the mountain every Thursday after school and most Saturdays for competitions. The first time I went to the mountain, Cody, Keegan and Brooklyn went too. Keegan drove us both ways - it was so nice! The second time I went, Keegan was already going with the snowboard team, so McKayla, Cody, Greg and I went to enjoy the mountain and also have a chance to see Keegan compete. Both days were amazingly beautiful! I am definitely a fair weather skier and these days were perfect. McKayla hadn't skied in 2 years and Brooklyn hadn't snowboarded in 2 years....and they were both terrific! I was so proud of them to be able to jump right back up and go. Cody has come a long way - especially having last season off due to his knee surgery - and is great on his board. He LOVES to go fast! Keegan is so fun to watch. He is an excellent snowboarder who also loves to go fast and is quite skilled at the sport. Greg's skiing looks so good - I don't even try to keep up with him. Thankfully my family is sweet to me and lets me tag along.
